I flew out of Tyler on 6/6/2017. the airport grounds are beautiful. The inside was clean, The airport is small, so the same agent, that checked me in, was the same on the gate. I was in a wheelchair, so every time he spoke with me, he knelt. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, he made the whole experience very pleasant! EG
It's a nice, small, and quiet regional airport. They have beautiful flowers outside. They also have vending machines with great snacks too.
Very less waiting on a long weekend day so I presume that it is always the case.
TSA staff were extremely sweet. Gotta say that.
It's a small and cozy airport. I never see an airport so cozy. In the gate area you can see all whole area, two gates! I thought comparing to the traffic I saw at Tyler, the airport is too small comparing to the city?
Excellent airport. Very convenient for connecting flights out of Dallas. You don't have to worry about traffic and parking which is a NIGHTMARE in Dallas. It is a beautiful airport, extremely well maintained.
