We were excited to build our very first pool after talking to Ed & Laura. As it turns out they are the only bright lights of this company! We started in Dec 2016 and our pool was finally finished in May 2017. To get anything done was a daily struggle! They had no problem taking our money and rarely showing up to work. Many texts and phone calls to the owner, Boyce didn't seem to make much of a difference until I rated them on Facebook. Then they decided to get the job done. Well, sort of! Our grotto is cracked which my husband tried to tell them in the beginning. They attempted to patch it and that didn't work. They came back and decided on another method for repairing and guess what? They still haven't bothered to fix it!!! We also have a kitchen area in which we are already on our second refrigerator and it's broke again. At this point after numerous phone calls and texts Blue Haven in Tyler still hasn't handled either issue!! This is the worst excuse for a business we have ever dealt with. Time to go above them and try to get matters resolved. Don't waste your time if you're getting ready to build a pool. They will gladly take your money with a smile and then leave you hanging! By the way, most of the 5 stars being given are employees or sub contractors that work for them.
Worst pool place for warranty work . Hayward referred them to me and the girl Anna in charge of warranty can't get the right parts ordered. I'd figure the serial # would say it all. So ive been waiting 2 months now and there's no telling how much longer it'll take. She's either not there, leaving early, or sick. And nobody else can help or call to notify me of the status. There is a big lack of communication at this place. Don't waste your time.
De Shanks was the best designer I could have ever asked for, we started with a larger pool in a small area and decided we needed to scale it down to fit the space in the yard. Mr Shanks reconfigured the pool to the perfect size for our yard, we wanted a nice water feature but wanted to wait until we could afford it, so Mr Shanks went ahead and plumbed for it, but we waited several months until we could afford what we wanted and were able to add it later. He used great products and was very knowledgeable on everything to do with the pool. He turned our yard into a little paradise for us, he has also taken care of the chemicals and everything for our pool, we had an issue last winter with staining to the walls of the pool and bluehaven stood behind their work and solved the problem for us. This company has gone over and above for us and we have no complaints. We have them do the monthly maintenance on the pool in the winter and the weekly in the summer and our pool stays looking beautiful all the time, we cover it in the winter and they do that for us as well. Blue Haven built my parents pool and did not build it to spec, per plans that were agreed upon. When the representative from the company finally showed up at the end of the job, as he was never there when the pool was actually being built, We brought to his attention that the pool was not the correct depth per plans by 2 feet, nor were the jets in the hot tub to spec,
Horrible customer service. Just spent 30 minutes waiting to be helped. One lady was already dealing with a customer at the front desk. At no time did she pause to say hello, sorry I'll be with you in a minute or say let me get someone to help you. There was another lady in the back who was on the phone the entire time and another lady who was just sitting there keeping the lady on the phone company is the only thing I can figure. Again I understand the lady already having a customer but please at least acknowledge the customer that is patiently waiting. But not even a word was spoken to us as we put our things back on the shelf and walked out. Won't go back!!!
and missing 4 as agreed upon in the contract and when I saw his face, you could tell at that moment, he had no idea what he was doing and obviously did not take the time to review the plans and coordinate with the crew at all. He had a fancy pickup though. they provided Zero oversight of the project and left it all to the crew that was not even theirs. They sub the work out to crews from Dallas which is a big issue. I find it deplorable to see this type of behavior from a contractor. Oh and the best part of dealing with blue haven is they will not own up to their mistakes . We have been trying to resolve this for over a year at this point and now they wont even return calls or service the pool..
