another time i returned my dvds and she said i still had one missing so i asked her to swipe again and she laughed cos she said she must of not swiped it good :(
I liked it at first but had some not so good experience s here I once was there with my daughter in the children's section and up above I over heard some woman speaking of issues of race not knowing who was in the library and also the homeless that constantly harasses me when I go there omg security please patrol outside of the building also it's not really an safe area
just beware ...when you bring back your books or dvd's, they will not give you a reciept proof you did return all your items . twice already they told me i didnot return a book so from now on i never drop them off .. i always go inside and ask them to please show me that my account shows i have returned everything at the time im handing in my items.
We took our daughter here recently for a family outing. She’s 2 years old and had a blast. They had a vast selection of kids books to read there or take home. The playroom was her favorite of course. They have all sorts of toys for kids to learn with. Overall a really good place for kids to learn and socialize.
There is one particular woman there older, wears hats, who has changed and is now really nice. I wrote negative review but now much nicer. ve up that library. Otherwise, I like the library. No I don;t like it when people park their kids there and then leave, or homeless smelly people, but unfortunately it is a public place. It's the only one in this good-sized town, people, so that's it. Seems like Tyler would build at least one more satellite. Maybe fix the roads first then build a library. Well, I am new here.
Most amazingly helpful staff who genuinely care about their patrons & their jobs. They staff around 30 employees who love chocolate, just in case y'all would like to bless them with some, they definitely earn it by going above & beyond to meet the patrons needs. Kudos to the staff of the Tyler public library!
