I have been here twice so far and plan on coming back. Each time I get the BBQ chopped salad and I order it halfed and even that can be too much food for me. I wish all salads came halfed, only a few do. My boyfriend got the chicken club and he said it was tasty, including the fries. Water served with lemon, plus. We had the waitress in the bar who had tattoos we got her last time and she's very polite, professional and very tentative. I will be back here!
I personally frequent this place as a Tuesday date night after 9pm. At this time not only do you have late night happy hour which include bj brews for 4 bucks and u call it's, but a host of discounted food. The main reason tho, is on Tuesday's is 3 dollar boozkie's. Who wouldn't want to share a giant cookie for a desert.
So the service, food, ambiance, and prices are solid. Very well balanced for cost vs what you get in return for your hard earned money.
Avocado egg rolls are delicious! Tony is the best server I have had there. I love the drinks and atmosphere. BJs is one of the best places in Tyler.
Food quality is solid as well, never been disappointed. One time we did have to wait for an item as they had to remake it. The manager came out well before to let us know an gave us a complementary appetizer while we waited with an apology for any inconvenience. When the meal did come out which really did not take that long, (maybe it felt this way do to great service and a manager realizing it would not fill that way if we snacked on some chips while waiting) it was amazingly fresh and delicious and worth the wait. This happened only one time out 30 visits.
Solid place to eat, service is usually pretty darn good. Ambiance is nice and selection and price is good as well. Wait times for entrance are generally low.
The staff were great and friendly the times I have been. Root beer float was awesome. Food however was nothing too great, just overpriced standard affairs for the most part.
Usually very good. Today the food was good, our server Clohe was lovely. The supporting staff was a bit punchy. Maybe a little cocktail flu from the night before. Our meal was delivered to our table awkwardly. We were unable to dine with each other or risk our food getting cold. We will be back, it is one of our favorite places. However probably not on a Sunday.
