***UPDATE*** I was contacted by the owners of this store after my post was made public. I would like to say both Mike and Julie were very apologetic, and made me feel like my feelings were heard. I returned to the store the Monday following this post and Julie reviewed my clothing items and I made a sale. I was also informed that all situations are taken very seriously and my problem was noted and would be solved. I appreciate the prompt response and the recognition of my feelings.
It is a good place to buy, but not sell. They have too many exceptions like the brand have to be a US brand (not from Europe), they don’t buy your car seat and etc. We brought items to them for sell 3 times and it was like just wasting our time. In my opinion it is much better to donate your items rather than take it here to sell. But again, it is a good place to get some stuff for your kids.
This place has very rude employees. I went here last night with half an hour to spare and the staff acted like it was an imposition for me to be there. I ended up not buying anything because the experience was so bad. The staff actually turned the closed sign on 15 minutes earlier than the time posted on the door. The only reason they got two stars is because their products and pricing is awesome
Please don't go here and try to "sell" your kids clothing unless you are a Richie-Rich. Even if you bring in freshly laundered, IRONED name brands lime baby gap, nautica, Lands End...the list goes on, clothes; the little girls who work at this location will judge YOU by how you look and they won't accept your clothes. I had a girl tell me some of my son's clothes had an odor...ALL the clothes were in a basket together and hung in the same closet and were washed yesterday. She said denim jeans from Gembore, made to look faded in the front and back, and CLEARLY a smart person could tell that, were unacceptable. A HUGE $150 Lands End winter coat...rejected because of a dog hair...A Polo winter jacket...REJECTED...this company clearly is not in the business of helping Tyler moms who need their children to look nice but cannot afford it. Oh and the behavior of the girls working there, don't even get me started, I was treated like white trash that was not good enough to grace their presence. I called and asked to speak to the owner, the girl laughed at me, I told her I wanted her to convey to JULIE (The owner) that I wanted a phone call back. SHE SAID "I can let her know but I can't make her call you"...like I'm stupid, and she was LAUGHING..totally disrespectful behavior by some 12 year olds running a store, clearly being made to think they are better than people! I wouldn't support his store of the clothes were FREE, it does not support Tyler moms...stick to CCC sale moms you will be treated much better and you will never be made to feel inferior by anyone!
Today was my first time visiting. I had a $5 off coupon from Plato’s Closet and decided to pop in to sell a few items. Service was great! The young lady that helped me (Kayla I think) was super friendly and gave me the run down without being overbearing. The store itself was very well organized and clean. I got a good amount back from the items I sold so I was satisfied with that. I will definitely make this a regular shopping spot!
