At this point, I just called my truck rental location, changed my drop off location and re-rented from another location.
Long story short, my drop location changed because I had an added load and needed to re-rent the truck when I got there-she basically said it wasn't allowed and I'd have to unload everything and load it into another truck.
Here's the kicker, while I was re-renting, she called and told the Budget dealer that he couldnt re-rent the truck because the general federal annual inspection was due whuch was not true!! I got the truck re-rented anyway, finished my job and was able to pay my bills and feed my kids regardless of that evil lady.
Yes, Avoid Mineola Trading Post like the plague.
The lady who works here is very, very rude. I rented here once and she tried to bully me into paying for the insurance which is not required. I assumed she was just having a bad day but 8 months later when I had a truck I rented somewhere else that was due back there, she started causing problems for me 2 days before it was due!

They require you to have your personal insurance cover their truck. I have never had to cover the rental, and I usually buy the additional insurance. I reserved with budget because the price was low and they give an EMS discount, but they want to tack on 180$ for insurance because I did not want my personal insurance to be liable for their truck. The attendant at the (literal) shack was rude despite the fact that we waited patiently and politely informed her we simply needed to cancel the reservation. Update: they charged my account 50$ for a "no show fee", when I called the corporate office and explained that I had a copy of the form from the office with the date and the attendants signature, they were more than happy to refund my money. I will be speaking with law enforcement about them inappropriately charging my card.
Very bad experience. Did not tell me there was a $320 deposit. Also, even though he knew I was going to go get pallets of equipment, didn't tell me the truck had no ramp! It never occurred to me that a moving truck wouldn't have a ramp. His response was that I didn't ask if it had a ramp. Would not recommend!
