Bernard's has always been a highly pleasant experience. Five of us went there last night. Atmosphere not as friendly. Food tasted good but all five of us experienced gastrointestinal problems all night long. Makes us leery of going back.
I dearly love a quiet up-scale restaurant with excellent food, good wine, and perfect service. We found them all here. I highly recommend you order the off-menu specials. Blackened Snapper was delish! The Caesar salad was about the best I've ever had. Their yummy rolls with the pesto made of black and green olives were perfect, and they have a very nice wine selection. Danielle was the tops in service! She took care of all our needs without any waiting, but wasn't interrupting our conversations either. Hope I get to come back here!
Fine intimate dining. I ordered the steak special. It was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. My husband loved his veal. Our waiter was attentive. We will return.
