The food here is great especially if you are looking for a homemade comfort food. Just like Mama made it! The staff is friendly. Only complaint is they don't come check on the table often.
Delicious and fast, friendly service! Can't get over how inexpensive the meals were despite being very generous portions. We will definitely be back!
I went there on recommendation by a friend. I was not impressed. First, I was seated in a place that was very hot, so I ended up having to move to where there was a ceiling fan. Second, everybody that was already there, and everyone that came in after me all got free chips and salsa. I was not offered any at all. Third, I ordered a cheeseburger. The menu said it came with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I asked if I could get mustard instead. It took forever to get my food. I opened my burger to make sure it had mustard. It was loaded with raw onions. I told the waiter that the menu did not say it would have onion, so I raked all of those off. I wanted picked on my burger, but came with a pickle strip on the side on the plate. I never got a refill, and was not even asked if I wanted one. The only good thing I got was the fried onion rings to go with my burger. The service that I got was terrible. Unless it gets a lot better, I will not go there again, and won't recommend it.
Today I ate at Mama's for the first time. It was delicious. They focus more on flavor than atmosphere! So good! I will go back!!
Service is not always consistent, but it's usually pretty good. Best part is that the food is really good, and the prices are very reasonable. We eat here about once a week. It doesn't have the most up-to-date decor, but I can live without that stuff. Get the pancakes. They are awesome.
