This is hands-down the best barbecue I have ever eaten. Prices were low, food was high quality an high quantity. We will be back to this small, privately owned jewel soon. Heads-up. It's cash or check only for this truly from scratch hometown eatery.
This is some of THE.BEST.BBQ I have ever eaten! The brisket was moist and the beans were amazing.....and the prices were phenomenal for the quality and portions. We loved speaking with the owner (who was as nice as he could be) and finding this little jewel. We will be back very, very soon. A must try!!!!!
Great people the best BBQ in Texas outstanding customer service deserts are wonderful all homemade they do it the way it used to be done highly recommended for large catering events are small events these people got it together
The best BBQ you will ever find. And SPECTACULAR southern hospitality. Stanley's in Tyler may be more well known but HICKORY HILL is the place to eat. I'm actually sad I have to leave Tyler.
The customer service made us feel like we were visiting family.. The food was amazing and not to mention the best sweet tea we have ever tasted. Me and my boyfriend are some BBQ loving folks and we are always trying different restaurants on our travels.. And this one tops the list hands down!! Next trip through I will definitely be back for some amazing food and some exceptional southern hospitality!! The place is everything I love from the looks to even the fat cat on the front porch. You definitely will not be disappointed.
