Food is great, and it has a nice atmosphere but it wasn't very busy at all so the waiter could have been a lot more attentive. The restroom was seriously dusty -like the stalls were actually piled with dust- and had spider webs hanging from the light fixtures. We were there at prime time on a Saturday night so I'm not sure why business was so dead. We were only one of two tables in one large dining room. But yeah great food.
My wife and I visited on August 12, 2017 for a late lunch. We love to go here and have actually made it one of our destination restaurants in Tyler; we live about 40 miles from Tyler. I enjoy the décor inside the restaurant but my wife, weather permitting, enjoys their patio sitting near the water feature. We love the Kobe Beef Burgers and the Smoked Brisket Sandwich. The flavor of each is great. The owner seems to take great pride in the food that he servers you. While talking to him you can just tell that he really cares. No place is perfect every time but we have always had a good experience with food and service each time that we have been here.
I love this place! I go here as a reward for myself or on special occasions. The food is fantastic and we'll priced for the amount of food you get. I've tried numerous items on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Mixed drinks are done perfectly with a great balance of alcohol and flavor. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and can make just about anything you want.
My husband's high school class had a small reunion tonight. BEST food and BEST service! We will DEFINITELY be back! Thanks Coyote Sam's!
We were so ready to post an excellent review of Coyote Sam's, however, in this case we can not. First, I will post the negatives since there were only 2, but they stood out big time. My girlfriend ordered the pork ribs and they came to the table off the bone and looked delicious, but they were completely flavorless. Even the tips had no flavor, so after each having a disappointed taste we pushed them aside. Additionally our dessert of creme brulee banana pudding was not appetizing either, the color and flavor are a complete miss here. My entree was the kobe burger which was excellent and I would recommend it 7 days a week, the service was prompt and friendly and the sweet tea was on point. With a few tweaks to these items this could be an excellent review, happy dining!
