I went to Heaton Eye Associates first where I was told I had retinal tears in both of my eyes and if i hadn't come in I would more than likely be blind in 3 weeks. I was then sent over to Dr. Bains asap, he saw me within the hour and told me that I did not have tears in my retinas at all. My vitreous fluid was pulling on my retina is what was causing my visual disturbances. He is an absolute genius. He reassured me and i feel much better about my vision and things in general!!
