I've never been so uncomfortable in a store in my life. I work in customer service and would fire any one of my staff members who gave such poor service as the girl who was at this store did. Myself and my fiancé were the only two people in the store and the girl working said absolutely nothing when we came in. She answered a phone call which is no big deal to me but then still continued to not even acknowledge us as we walked around once she was off the phone. I've never been to this store and had no idea about their sizing or anything. It would have been so nice for her to ask if I needed help in any way, but I didn't even want to approach her. She genuinely seemed bothered by our presence in the store. And it's not like they were anywhere near closing time. No way I'll ever walk back into this store or recommend it to anyone.
The employees were attentive and helpful however the store is jammed packed. It was a pain trying to maneuver through the store and dig through the clothes on the racks. They have a large selection but it would be nice if they could spread it out more.
I love Torrid and I'm w regular shopper at the locations in Terrel, Bossier City and Houston area locations. This location had a broad range of merchandise. However I went to the store mid afternoon on a weekday when I was the only person there. There were two employees who were laughing and talking about their personal lives. They never greeted me when I entered the store- or said anything. I walked around for around 10 minutes and then I approached them about specials. I continued to look at clothes and was holding multiple garments. They never asked if I needed a changing room opened. After another 15 minutes I approached them and asked them to open a dressing room for me. When I left the dressing area they didn't approach to ask if the clothes fit or if I needed help. I wouldn't have thought much about this effort I was the only customer this entire time. They severely lack customer service skills. As I left the store I overheard one of them giggling about feeling old now that she gets to interview new hires. Maybe she was the manager? I hope she's not the trainer because she didn't even say have s nice day. Hope you come back. Not a word from either the entire time I was there. This has not been my experience at any of the other locations I've visited- and they have been FAR busier.
