I have used this vet for many years. I seem to attract all the abandoned animals were I live so I joke that I have my normal animals & my extras that I take to them - dogs & cats. I can call them ask any question at anytime & they have always given me great advice. All of my animals are well taken care of by Dr Cauthen & Dr Copper. I had a old lab, Jake, 16.5 years old that they extended his life while still maintaining a good quality of life & when it was time for him to go they assisted with that as well. They care a great deal about animals as well. I took one of my extras today & they took great care of him because he was living in the woods few weeks ago & was very scared. Top quality vet, highly recommend.

Jak had nasty reaction to fleas and had to get medication and Bella needed a pill. Got an appointment same day. Delightful staff. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Dr. Cauthen is the most skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate veterinarian I've ever seen. I drive from Dallas just so I'm confident my dogs are in the best care possible. She has cared for my 9 year old golden retriever Lexi since she was a puppy. Most recently, Lexi was given a poor prognosis from another vet in Dallas after an emergency surgery for eating a stuffed toy. This vet threw their hands up and said that even with internists and specialists, and $10k more to spend, Lexi would not recover. I transferred Lexi to Animal Medical Center where Dr. Cauthen immediately examined Lexi and diagnosed her with post-op pancreatitis. She began treatment and came home 3 days later. Without a doubt, Dr. Cauthen and the team at AMC Tyler saved Lexi's life. I can't begin to show my appreciation and gratitude. Plain and simple: this is the only vet you should use for your pets.

My dogs eye got scratched pretty bad and was bleeding. I asked for suggestions on where to go and a friend referred me here. She said they saw her last minute and everyone was nice. I rushed to get my dog there before they closed for the day hoping someone would see me. As soon as I walked in the lady at the front desk gave me a very unpleasant look. I told her my situation and she rolled her eyes and told me the doctor left for the day and everything is done by appointments. I wasn't upset that they couldn't see me, because I understood they were close to closing. However, her rudeness was very offputting and she didn't seem to care. It looks like everyone else has had great experience, but my personally experience was not great at all. I didn't feel welcomed what so ever and will never try to bring my dog there again in the future. I ended up going across town and got the help and medication my dog needed.

They have an awesome groomer there and care about your pet.
