I had an appointment scheduled for my son to see the doctor about his ears. I waited one month for the appointment. I received a recorded message asking me to confirm the appointment. The message asked for me to allow 30 minutes to fill out paperwork before the set appointment time. My wife arrived 10 minutes early with my son who she pulled out of school to make the appointment. Keep in mind it takes 45 minutes to drive to the doctors office from where we live. Because the appointment was a referral the doctors office already had all of the information. All my wife had to do was sign a few places and initial a few things. After everything was done the office manager said that we wouldn't be able to keep the appointment because we were late. She wouldn't do anything. The lady at the front desk was iembarrassed to tell my wife that we couldn't keep the appointment. Now the appointment is scheduled for another month out. This is absolutely ridiculous. I work in the service industry and if I treat people this way I wouldn't have a job. I have to wonder if Dr. Garber knows that his patients are treated this way. I know for a fact I've set in that office for more than 30 minutes waiting on the doctor to see me. Very frustrating!
