I recently had a large project that I wanted to order through the McCoys store in Tyler. I called the store and worked through a detailed quote with Phil. Phil was very helpful and provided me with the quote. I called later in the day and spoke with Sandy to place the order and was told that the only way for me to place the order was to come in to the store and place the order in person. As I live nearly 100 miles from the store, this was not going to be possible. There was no willingness to work through a phone or online order. I called back later to discuss any potential options with the store manager and my request for a call back was never returned. I have taken my business and my $3,000+ order elsewhere.
I had placed an order on some windows with Cindy well 2 weeks later am litterly calling and calling and all I would get is I'll call you back and they never did until the next day Cindy decides to call me that she never put my order in but yet was charged wtf !! she has no customer service last time I will ever go there my question is why hire rude ppl I understand some have been there 20+ yrs but if your fed up with your job retire or just quit easy as that .
Friendly employees that do the best they can to get you in and out. They are often busy. One of the few REAL lumber yards left. Nothing better than pulling right up to the board you want.

While I have walked away from some very unpleasant interactions where I was treated with condescension and rudeness, I have also had some generally delightful experiences with other staff members, and the loading guys are pretty much always genuine and friendly.
