I've never heard anything good about this place, but mother in-laws car had Firestone tires & she had a flat due to some metal in the tire. Wife had car towed in, since I was gone & they ordered the tire from a store 40 miles East. Wife was told ready Monday 8am - NOPE. Kept calling & getting some story. Told Tuesday 8AM - NOPE. Called them Wed 3PM & the tire was there, but no one called! Went there & tire was installed - charged me full price plus all the extras & when I inquired why it wasn't covered under Road Haz, they said I don't know, So, he looked it up, & amazing, she had road haz - which we had already told them. Then Samuel claimed that he was unaware, when he was the one who waited on us & was told that the tires were covered. I will NEVER use them for ANY service or tires!
Have gotten tires from Firestone as long as I can remember (we're talking over 25+ years everywhere I've lived), but this particular location is the worst I've ever dealt with. Went in with flat on one of the tires I bought from Firestone and had road hazard on last week only to be told that I'd have to wait 5 HOURS before they could look at it. Again, I'm driving around with a flat and it's a tire that I bought from them. I pumped the tire up with an air pump, which held to get me home, and brought it back July 3rd later in the afternoon. I figured if they didn't have five hours left until closing that the wait had to be less, right? LOL! I think I got there between 3 and 3:30. The place was dead on the inside and there weren't too many cars in the front parking lot either. .....I rolled out of there a few minutes shy of 7:00 PM!!! So, if you are in a hurry and plan to wait, avoid this place. They don't seem to have the staff or the hearts to help folks that need more urgent service. If you plan to drop a vehicle off and leave it all day, it may work for you. ...but here's something the manager might consider. If someone dropped a vehicle off in the morning and doesn't plan to be back until closing, squeeze in the folks that stop in with emergencies, especially if the tires on their cars were bought there, as you've got the rest of the day to do the drop-offs. Also, consider either getting more staff or more efficient staff. I've dropped thousands and thousands of dollars at Firestone over the years and that just ended with this recent set of visits. You've managed to bring a tradition to an end with your horrible service and lack of compassion. P.S. I have since needed two new tires and a flat fixed on my other vehicle and decided to try Discount Tire right down the street on Broadway. They fixed the flat for free and put two new tires on in 20 minutes! I found my new tire place!
I've used them numerous times and have always been happy. I have nice Centerlines on my Mustang and they've always taken care to not scratch them.
I don' recommend this place at all due to the poor level of customer service.
Made an appointment 3 days ahead for balance and alignment. When drove all the way from Jacksonville to this place they told me that there is no tech on shift to take care of the alignment and I have to reschedule it and no one was even sorry or saying a word of apology!!!! Then whats the point of having an appointment? They could easily call me and let me know but seems like no one there care about customer service!
I went here for alignment. The staff really friendly and helpful.. after 30 minutes waiting the guy come to me and told me the tie rod on the front driver side is really bad ( I have an accident and it make sense that the tie rod went bad).. the good thing is the guy took me to the car to prove it and it was bad so he can't perform the alignment.. he quoted me 205 to replace the tie rod ( 100 for parts and the rest for labor )..i refused and decided to come back the next day after replacing the tie rod.. i went to O'Reilly to get the part which was 30.99 and replaced it by my self, only took me 45 minutes ( including watching DIY how to change tie rod). Come back the next day and tell them i need alignment ASAP.. i asked them how much to balance all wheels. He quoted me around $50s ( can't remember how much but one wheels is like around $13.99). I decided to only do alignment. Overalls this place is actually good ( staff were nice and friendly) and comfy (free water, coffee, tv, free wifi and comfy chairs).. the only reason i gave them 4 stars because the price is wayy to overpriced.
