This is a real nice, kid-friendly place. The rooms are different colors and they have things in the ceiling tiles so that kids have something to look at when they lay back. For the smaller kids they have toys an things to keep them distracted, which is helpful. They have a set group of hygienists who have been with him a long time, so my kids have seen the same hygienist for awhile and are comfortable with them.

Dr. Carter was a nice person but his office staff which I believe included his wife was very very rude so we found another dentist. I would say there are plenty of dentist to choose from with a better office staff.

WE LOVE DR.CARTER!! When we brought our 1 yr old in for a checkup else where, we were told that his cavities were so bad that they needed to be removed right away. According to the other TWO dentists we went to, our son would need to be put under full sedation at the hospital for this to happen. As a last resort, we went to Dr. Carter. Dr. Carter immediately stopped all that nonsense. He said it wasn't so urgent, and that he would rather just wait and see if they end up being a bother to our son. When our son was 4 (still with no problems with the cavities except cosmetic), Dr. Carter decided to remove the cavities with laser treatment. No pain. I couldn't sing higher praises for Dr. Carter's bedside manner and patience with both the children and the parents. He does not accept Medicaid, so that was hard for us when we were on Medicaid, but that did make us feel better about Dr. Carter's decisions. The other dentists we had been to both not only accepted Medicaid, but seemed to THRIVE off of the people who had it. Anyway, you won't be disappointed with Dr. Carter or his staff!!

I was traumatized as a child with a dentist so I was concerned about my kids' dental experience. We'd been to other dentists and weren't happy with them. Dr. Carter was recommended by the pediatrician and immediately I knew he was where my kids needed to be. He's taken care of their teeth and more importantly has taken care of them being comfortable going to a dentist. Long term, I know they'll take care of themselves.

We're always there on time and are taken care of within 10 minutes. Dr. Carter is just the best, he's always taking time with the kids and not rushing. We were referred by a friend and I couldn't be happier with the kids' teeth or the service.
