Got, Got, Got, all my favorites here... Even gained a lot of well needed information about , several products and equipment... Nicely stocked
I highly recommend Lone Star for your motorcycles, motorcycle supplies and notions in a friendly and knowledgeable atmosphere.
At Lone Star they have some nice motorcycles on the showroom floor. I wish I could get a new Harley every time I go in. Maybe even one of the three wheelers. Since I am not able to do so, I go for the accessories hanging on the walls behind the fancy scooters.
The merchendice is well displayed, and there is an excellent selection. I have bought a little bit of everything at Lone Star and I gladly display there name on several t-shirts.
This was my first visit. I just bought a Sportier that needs restoration. I brought the wheels in to have the tires removed. The serviceman informed me he would have to charge me $49.50 for a five minute task . I then went to parts to price and possibly buy them. The prices weren't too bad but none of them were in stock. The store was very impressive and I like to see the new bikes. Don't think I will be back soon.
If you call them on the phone for anything... nobody can help you...well, updating this. Walked in to get parts I ordered...was confronted by only god knows who about leaving a truthful negative comment. I still have no clue.. left and was getting in vehicle and he was still yappin' in the parking lot. Not good for customer relations...guess I'll start driving further to get parts now. Back story is simple... I call to check on parts, was told parts was busy..so I asked if he could help me, he said no...funny thing is, all the computers are linked to the same system. A quick look under my account would have told him everything I have ever purchased or ordered and what had been received . Just like 100% of every Harley dealer...this isn't just a one time issue. The last ten years has been like this. I live quite a ways from them, so I can't just go in and check. It's also funny that you call in and who you need is always busy...yet even like yesterday, nobody was in there...I have never seen over two people there during the week...weekends yes, but mostly folks who ride and stop at all shops. The number for me was no good because it wasn't mine....new update July 1st..I found out who the guy was I talk to on the phone and the one who confronted me in store.. it was Orrin Latch, OWNER of this dealership both times. So , I ask...as the owner of this business, isn't it your job to fill in wherever the need arises to help the customers you want and need? Hmmm..it's also funny that this dude never said who he was when he approached me at the dealer or on the phone..might want to take some customer service classes.
I was passing though on a triumph and needed service. They were able to schedule me in on short notice and get me back on the road. The store was nice, the employees were friendly and the waiting area was comfortable.
Lone Star has a friendly and helpful staff. From the guys out back to the pretty girls up front, I have not encountered anyone at this Harley shop who is not quick to offer assistance.
