I recently experienced unprofessional behavior from Sam's bakery. I received a phone call from Rita, telling me that my son's birthday cake would not be available for the next day. She said that they could not do the theme for party, but they could just "throw" some balloons or something on a plain cake. I was very livid as it was almost 6p.m and my son's party was the very next day. I tried to call around and no-one was able to have a cake ready that fast. So I proceed to call Sam's back to talk to a manager to try and fix this problem. I was put on hold and apparently there wasn't any managers or supervisors available and on top of that Rita hung up on me. They called back about 20 minutes later, saying they have the original cake that I had ordered. Once I picked the cake up it was not what I had expected the trimming color was wrong, and the design was wrinkled. I did try to talk to the store manager Paul, and he went to talk to the bakery manager Jolene who again want around. Paul said that he would talk to the other manager about the situation and she would give me a call. Needless to say I have yet to receive that call. Yes, I'm pissed because they upset me the day before my child's birthday and I played full price for a half ass decorated cake.
Back after a few years not having a membership. I have to say there are awesome upgrades to the whole process of shopping. Used the scan & go app...was effortless & effective. More to choose from than before...great prices. It's good to be back.
Went to Sam's club today and I found jersey t-shirts marked $7.81, however at the register it only shows your discount at the bottom of your receipt. If they ring you up and the discount doesn't come off you have to go to the service desk to wait in a long line to get your refund
Shopping At Sam's in Tyler tonight, located off Loop 323, was so Enjoyable. Store was Clean. Shelves Stocked. Excellent variety of Merchandise with A Price Sure to Meet any Budget. In Food Section, the Ladies were handing out Treats of all Likes. Fried Rice w/Chicken. Drinkaides in An Assortment of Flavors, and also No Sugar, in the Product. Pleasant Ladies were kindly informing the Shoppers of the Various goodies they had to offer up to taste. Checkout was no Different. Excellence at its Best! Bravo Sam's, for Making the Holiday season so much easier to Glide thru w/List in hand and Everything in Order in aisles as if Santa had been there himself & Organized by Sections of Fresh Baked Goods Galore. I love the "Scan-and-Go" application -- no standing in line at all! Good selection and prices for our large family. We go here every week. Also, excellent place to get tires -- they often have specials running.
