Toilet was stopped up. They wanted me to change rooms at 3 am. At after 10 am, cleaning lady brought me a plunger, the called my room and said if I wanted to check out right then, like maybe 10:30 am that I could get a refund but when I asked for a free room later, still before check out at noon, they said no, not even a refund at this point. Only a room at 1/2 price and I said that was unacceptable. They're not very customer oriented at all. I will not stay at this place again. MOTEL 6 IS BETTER AND LESS EXPENSIVE, MORE CUSTOMER ORIENTED.
Great price. Clean. Friendly. Good breakfast. Nice amenities. Good shower.
They were very courteous and prompt to respond to any issues we had. Nothing major, just small stuff like missing ashtray in a smoking room, things like that. We had a great experience here and are likely to return to this hotel when we come back through next time.
For the cost its pretty decent. I will say the owners have tried to stir away from the motel looking raggedy. The decor looks as if they take care in the rooms. However I will say that the rooms stink! If they would take care of the odor it would be above average. I also feel that tbey should allow pets with a charged fee. Just a thought!
We were able to book a last minute room even on popular First Monday weekend without the rate being doubled like every other place in the area. The room was somewhat dated but it was clean. The air conditioner worked extremely well although it seemed like it took forever to cool off initially. Only gripe was the room's location in proximity to where we had to park. We were given an interior upstairs room and it was quite a haul with all our stuff. Overall a good stay.
