I've read some previous reviews & am surprised to see so many negative comments. I have been with the Andrews Center for many years now and, quite honestly, I believe they saved my life. For 45 years I've had BiPolar1, rapid-cycling along with other little labels.. I've worked with many of the different Doctors/Nurses there (all very professional, friendly & caring). I've had some ups & downs, of course, but over-all I am so thankful I found this organization.They have literally saved my life and they continue trying to do what they can to improve on my on-going emotional problems. If you think you can do better, especially if you are financially challenged, go take a look around. My advice, don't burn your bridges here because you never know when you may want re-consider. I went in to this facility to receive some simple therapy for my emotional problems. From the very beginning I was treated like a criminal. During the actual interview all the "nurse" did was attack my lifestyle. I received absolutely no help for my issues and left feeling much worse than I did when I entered. The professionalism of this facility is very poor and I personally feel that Ms. Jan Lorenz should not be allowed to practice medicine of any kind. I DO NOT recommend this establishment to anyone unless you would like to walk out with your head lower than it was when you walked in.
My daughter received therapy via the ABA Outreach program and it helped me just as much as her. We are grateful and everyone was welcoming and encouraging. I would like to thank you all for your support especially Team Leader Brittany and trainer Lacy. We love you all and look forward to seeing you soon!
Even when starting a new medication or dosage the psychiatrists only see you every 3-5 months. The ladies at the front desk are rude.
