I waited 3 hours for a call back from the office manager to say that their system is very solid and i confirmed both appointments yet didn't show up, so her and the doctor decided best that they not take us as a patient.
Went back to exam room and waited over 45 minutes for the PA who said she was only 15 minutes behind. Saw the PA instead of an MD, which would have been okay for a follow up, but not my initial visit. She was interrupted by her cell phone with her daughter calling.
Brought my mother in to an appointment she’s had for three weeks . They was telling her to be there at 10:30 she is hard of hearing and was in severe pain in both ears. I actually got her there at 10:15 they called her up to the desk at 10:32 . Was telling her she was 30 minutes late she was supposed to come in 30 minutes early and filled out paperwork and actually to get a hearing test first they denied her to see the doctor she was in extreme pain they didn’t care so I left with her and took her to the emergency room I would not recommend anyone to go to this facility
Not impressed with the service in the least. I was astonished as what was an attempt to refer to another type medical exam that was sure to be a waste of more time and more money.. I waited 15 more minutes to be taken to front check out and was greeted to a perturbed employee who was the only one working in the 3 open windows. She couldn't answer questions about the billing, she couldn't provide a receipt, and she wouldn't take a post-dated check for the deductible (pending insurance) as I was told to do the day before when they contacted me. She said in case I died they couldn't cash my check. (oh my...) Received EOB where insurance paid 3 days post visit, and sure enough an over charge, which I tried to tell them before I paid it, would be different. Was told it posted 1 day after the time they do refunds (how ironic) and I would have to wait another month before they do refunds.
I had hearing loss and came here. Dr. Lewis is a great doctor, very professional and friendly. There is a bit of waiting but I assume is expected. The ear sound tech are very friendly too. Overall, very pleased.
First time audiology patient, referred by my PCP for hearing loss in one ear. After reading some other reviews I was apprehensive, but the front desk staff (three young ladies) were all greeting people with smiles, attending to business efficiently. Quick check in. Five minues later, the smiling "new patient person" took me to a nice, private office and asked my medical history, etc. entering it into the computer very adeptly. Great, because I always hated filling out those new patient forms. Then I went back to the waiting area, watched a few minutes of close-captioned TV, and was soon taken back by the audiologist for my ear tests. She was very friendly, had awesome skills, and explained everything very well as I went through each part of the procedure. The audiologist took me back up front and told me the PA would soon come and get me for my appointment with the doctor. I saw Dr. Callendar and he explained everything, answered all my questions, seemed extremely knowledgeable. He wanted me to schedule a CAT scan before leaving so I went back to the waiting area to wait on the CAT scheduler lady. Another young lady came out and said the scheduler had gotten tied up with a doctor, so she offered to call me with an appointment time so I didn't have to wait! Also, GREAT COFFEE and SUPER CLEAN RESTROOMS. So there you have it, maybe I was just lucky but I had a fabulous experience with ENT of ET so far.
So frustrated I literally wasted a half a day for a 10 minute visit, not to mention the hour drive there and hour back. Staff, other than the audiologist, were just not in tune to what was going on and some had attitudes or were too busy with personal conversations with other staff. I'm not sure the physician's are aware, but the front line staff makes this office a place I don't want to visit again.
This is NOT a very customer oriented office, especially patient customer service. It took over 3 weeks to get an appointment that was referred by physician to be seen with 24-48 hours. An ER physician also referred an appointment, and by then it was too late. No answers, just a waste of time and money.
I would recommend any other office than this one. My son was scheduled to see an ENT at the office first back in June. I did not receive any reminder call, text, or email from this office about the appointment. I showed up at the GIVEN time the lady of the phone VERBALLY gave me. When I showed up they claimed that we missed our appointment 4 hours earlier and was considered a no show. I know for a fact that the time the lady gave me was NOT the time they had us on calendar for. So, I rescheduled.
Office staff could care less about your child needing to be seen, or making sure they have the correct information. Rather than accept fault and responsibility for at least partial mistakes on their behalf, they send you back to your pedi with no other option for an ENT without driving far away.
I yet again never received a phone call, text, or email reminder for my sons appointment so I call to double check. "Oh, well your appointment was yesterday and we can not reschedule you since you no showed twice." WHAT?!
Avoid this office. Find some where else. I'm sure there's another office that won't turn away a child.
Not all tests that were scheduled were performed. Waited 20 minutes for initial check in; went back to waiting area and then 20 minutes later called back to an intake person who was interrupted by staff saying I was incorrectly scheduled with a physician. Went back to waiting area for another 30 minutes before I got taken to an exam room and waited there for 15 minutes before the audiologist came in to say I couldn't be seen until a hearing test was done. She was very friendly and apologetic for the confusion; she was told I wasn't there or had left. (Hmm)
I never once received any kind of communication from this office! I was the one who called and scheduled the first appointment. Even when we showed up to they say wrong time, they didn't even confirm any of our information then to make sure we'd be notified. Come to find out yes, they had the wrong information. Yet even still they will not see us. The office manager blamed it on TMF for sending the wrong info. I get all my info by phone, text, app, and email from our pediatrician and TMF without any issue. Why not verify that when you do your initial call to schedule the first appoint?!? Oh wait, I had to make that call too.
